Pearl Home is not just an accommodation – it’s a house full of history and love. The building was constructed in the 90s, originally serving as the home of a merchant family. Over the years, the house has accompanied the lives of the family’s generations, and now the youngest daughter and her family have renovated it to function as a friendly, family-oriented accommodation that meets modern needs.

The house’s atmosphere combines the warmth of old times with the comfort of modern luxury. The spacious, green courtyard provides opportunities for children to play, while adults can enjoy the wellness area or the outdoor grill. Pearl Home welcomes families with 22 beds and 8 extra beds, making it ideal for smaller and larger groups.

Our goal is to ensure you feel maximally safe and comfortable during your stay. Please read this information carefully so that your time here is pleasant. The information is also available digitally on our website and in Hungarian upon request.

1. Arrival and Departure

• Check-in: From 14:00. You will receive the keys personally on site, where our colleague will welcome you and introduce the accommodation. Early arrival is possible upon prior arrangement, for an extra fee.

• Check-out: No later than 10:00. Late check-out is possible upon prior arrangement, for an extra fee. Please leave the keys at the agreed place.

2. Payment

The full accommodation fee is payable on site in cash or by bank card. For longer or peak season bookings, we may request a 50% deposit. Accepted payment methods: cash (HUF), bank card, and SZÉP card (accommodation sub-account).

3. Cancellation Terms

• Cancellation 14 days prior: free.

• Between 7–14 days: 50% of the total amount.

• Within 7 days or no-show: 100% of the total amount.

4. Child Discounts

• Ages 0–3: free (in parents’ bed or crib).

• Ages 4–14: 50% discount from adult price.

• From age 15: full price. Child-friendly services: crib, high chair, and baby bath available in limited numbers (prior reservation required).

5. Parking

9 free parking spaces are available in the enclosed courtyard. Additional vehicles can park for free on the street. The parking lot is monitored by camera for security.

6. Smoking and Pets

Smoking is only allowed in the designated area on the back terrace. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rest of the building (rooms, common areas) – penalty 25,000 Ft.

Pets are not allowed on the premises.

7. Ensuring Peace

To respect the peace of other guests and neighbors, no loud noise or music is allowed between 22:00 and 08:00. Please maintain silence, especially in common areas.

8. Wellness Services (Jacuzzi and Sauna)

Extra fee service, available upon individual time arrangement. Current fees and usage rules (e.g., hygiene requirements, maximum capacity) will be provided by our colleagues. An outdoor pool is also available in the wellness area. Please read the safety instructions before use.

9. Cleaning and Bedding

Weekly cleaning once, bedding and towel change included in the price. Additional cleaning or towel change available upon request, for an extra fee. Daily cleaning available upon request. Please indicate your needs in advance. Rooms are checked daily for safety and cleanliness.

10. Kitchen and Dining

• Room 7 and the two second-floor apartments have private kitchens (equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, etc.).

• All other rooms have a mini fridge.

• A shared American kitchen is available on the ground floor (equipped with coffee maker, kettle, toaster). Breakfast or other meals available upon prior arrangement, for an extra fee. Please use the kitchen as intended and leave it clean for the next guest.

11. Laundry Facilities

Each apartment has its own washing machine. Additionally, a shared laundry room is available at the wellness section (washing machine, dryer). Usage is free, but please follow hygiene rules.

12. WiFi and Internet

Free, high-speed WiFi is available throughout the accommodation. Network name and password can be requested from the information in the room.

13. Safety and Emergencies

Smoke detectors and fire alarms are installed in every room of the building. Please always lock doors and windows when leaving the room. First aid kit is available – please contact our colleagues.

14. Liability

The accommodation assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged personal valuables. The guest is obligated to compensate for any damage caused to furnishings or the building. Please use the room safe for storing valuables.

15. Sustainability and Environmental Protection

As an eco-friendly accommodation, please help us with sustainability:

• Selective waste collection: separate bins for paper, plastic, glass, and metal (in the courtyard).

• Energy saving: Turn off lights and air conditioning when leaving.

• Water saving: Turn off taps when not in use. Thank you for your cooperation towards a greener future!

16. Local Attractions and Programs

Békéscsaba and its surroundings are rich in attractions. Here are some recommendations:

• Gyulai Castle (14 km): The only intact Gothic lowland fortress of the former Kingdom of Hungary. (gyulavara.hu)
